In our continued support of local bail agent associations, the AIA Team travelled to Florence, South Carolina this past week to both sponsor and present at the South Carolina Bail Agents’ Association meeting. AIA’s Chief Marketing Officer, Eric Granof, spoke with agents about a topic that is extremely important in the bail bond industry, Marketing. From yellow pages to websites and Facebook to Twitter, the agents in attendance learned how marketing has evolved over the years and how now more than ever, they need to evolve their own marketing if they want to remain competitive in a hyper competitive marketplace. According to a recent study conducted by Google, 75% of small businesses in South Carolina don’t even have a web page. “Not having a web presence in today’s business environment is flat out crazy,” said Granof to the group. “It is the equivalent of trying to get customers to come in your store without having a door for them to walk through.”
Eric Granof joined AIA in 2009. As Vice President of Corporate Communications, Eric is responsible for both internal and external communications across the organization. As part of his responsibilities, Eric drives a number of marketing initiatives for the company including the development of new service partnerships with groups like Staples, TLO, and Inkhead, creating new marketing programs like ExpertBail and providing consulting and guidance to AIA’s family of agents in the area of marketing. In addition to his corporate communications responsibilities, Eric is also Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer for the ExpertBail Network.
