The Professional Bondsmen of Texas held their annual convention in late October in San Antonio, Texas. This four-day conference was well attended by approximately 150 people. Among the presenters were two guest speakers that spoke on the topics of time management and tax law. In addition, there were two panel discussions that focused on the importance of knowing the laws of bail bond board and non-bail bond board counties. The election of officers was held on the final day of the meeting, with John McCluskey being reelected for another term as president. Among the valuable content at the convention were the numerous networking opportunities and social events including a golf tournament, cocktail party, awards luncheon, and an auction. The success of this association is evident through their thriving membership of more than 400 agents and counting.
