The Indiana Surety Bail Agents Association met in mid October. The meeting included presentations by Carole Cutter, the new Insurance Commissioner as well as Robert Himmel an Attorney from the Department of Insurance who handles bail bond complaints. Both speakers emphasized the open lines of communications they want to have with the Bail industry. The key topic discussed included the increase in 10% cash bonds.
