AIA is pleased to announce the hiring of long-time industry veteran, Bruce Biel. Based in Wallingford, Connecticut, Bruce will be working in AIA’s Agent Services Group, providing insight and guidance to agents across the country. Bruce has close to 25 years’ experience on both the retail and surety sides of the business and brings a wide range of knowledge and skills to AIA. For the past 8 years, he served as a Regional Account Manager/Auditor for Accredited Surety & Casualty Company.
In addition to his work in the bail industry, Bruce also has a passion for local sports. For the past 31 years, Bruce has served as the play-by-play and color commentator for Central Connecticut State University’s football and basketball programs. He also is the official scorer for the Hartford Yard Goats AA Minor League Baseball team.
Bruce has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Journalism/Commercial Writing from Central Connecticut State University.
