National Center for Victims of Crime Survey Results

October 8, 2010Posted by Eric Granofin News

While we were conducting a survey amongst AIA agents, the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) was also conducting a survey amongst over 600 victim advocates.  The results of this survey are presented below, but the most interesting element of them is that victim advocates have very little interaction with the bail industry.  This becomes even more interesting when you begin to realize the amount of interactions that a bail agent has (86% have an interaction at least once a month) with victims.  This cross section is where we think we have the biggest opportunity to not only change the public perception of our industry, but to also have our industry and great family of agents play a bigger role in protecting the rights of victims and ensuring that they have their day in court.
