The Results are In – How Social are You?

January 28, 2010Posted by Eric Granofin News

We would like to thank everyone that responded to our latest bail bond industry survey. The input you provide through these surveys gives us good insight into the needs of our agents, as well as the topics that are most relevant for you.

In terms of this survey, there were many interesting findings. First, while over 60% of respondents utilized social medial in some form, it seemed very clear that many people are still very new to social media and do not fully understand it or how it directly impacts their bail bond business.  57% of respondents were unsure of which social media tactic was their most effective.   Additionally, 71% of respondents considered themselves “novices” at social media with over 60% giving responsibility of social media to an outside vendor or employee. Also, respondents appear to be using social media mostly to either “generate new business” (62%) or “increase search rankings” (46%)…but are still unsure of how effective their social media is.
While social media has advanced very quickly as a “must have” marketing tactic, the jury still appears to be out for the bail bond industry.  Thank you again for your responses and we invite any and all comments at [email protected].
