Victories For The Bail Industry !!!!

April 21, 2009 (Oregon) – After months of hardwork by The American Bail Coalition and a consortium of industry representatives, we are pleased to report that the Oregon House Judiciary Committee just passed a bill that could lead to the re-introduction of surety bail into that state.

April 21, 2009 (Austin, TX) – Great news out of Austin.  Earlier today, SN 498, the bill to create a deposit bail system in Texas, stalled in committee.  Over 150 Texas bail agents were present at the hearing.
