Marketing 101 in South Carolina

March 15, 2012Posted by Eric Granofin News

In our continued support of local bail agent associations, the AIA Team travelled to Florence, South Carolina this past week to both sponsor and present at the South Carolina Bail Agents’ Association meeting. AIA’s Chief Marketing Officer, Eric Granof, spoke with agents about a topic that is extremely important in the bail bond industry, Marketing. From yellow pages to websites and Facebook to Twitter, the agents in attendance learned how marketing has evolved over the years and how now more than ever, they need to evolve their own marketing if they want to remain competitive in a hyper competitive marketplace. According to a recent study conducted by Google, 75% of small businesses in South Carolina don’t even have a web page. “Not having a web presence in today’s business environment is flat out crazy,” said Granof to the group. “It is the equivalent of trying to get customers to come in your store without having a door for them to walk through.”

As part of our ongoing efforts to educate agents on the value and ins and outs of marketing a bail business, we are launching a new whitepaper series on the subject of Marketing. The first whitepaper is entitled “Bail Bond Marketing: Building a Brand.” If you would like to receive a copy of this initial whitepaper, please email our team at [email protected].
