Is Your Business Prepared if Disaster Strikes?

March 4, 2011Posted by Eric Granofin News

floodedHow prepared is your business should the unthinkable happen? Hurricanes, floods, fires… you can never know when or where the next disaster may strike. Read our article to make sure your business is prepared and we aren’t just talking about having extra dry towels on hand.

In June 2009 during the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Ike, AIA invited FEMA to speak at our Gulf Coast Conference on the importance of having a disaster recovery plan in place for your business. Last month, a couple of our Las Vegas agents had their offices destroyed by a fire, and unfortunately, they did not have a disaster plan in place. We share our article Is Your Business Prepared with you again and urge you to use the FEMA Evaluation Tool and Disaster Plan Guide and be prepared to keep your business running in the event of a disaster.
