We wanted to share two letters ALEC received from State Legislators in response to our recent collaborative mailing with them. These letters are from Councilman Harry “Tommy” Thomas, Jr., of Washington DC and Senator Mike Haridopolos of Florida. This is a positive step in the right direction, education on the failures of Pretrial Release Services.
