James D. Portman is Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel for AIA. Jim has over 35 years of legal and business experience in the insurance and securities industries. Mr. Portman leads the AIA Legal Department, directly responsible for all AIA corporate legal affairs, including claims, litigation and regulatory matters. He is a licensed California lawyer.
