Michigan Professional Bail Agents Association

Michigan Professional Bail Agents Association met in East Lansing, MI last week.  In order to save the association some money, this group gathered at a local restaurant which gave the event a very informal feel and led to a very collaborative discussion surrounding legislation.  The discussions included raising premium fees from 10% to 15%, the frequency of the updates to the list of bail agents at the jail to Pre-Trial Services.  This association ended their meeting on the importance of unity.  Groups that work together can accomplish more than working against each other.  For more information on the Michigan Professional Bail Agents Association, visit their website at www.mpbaa.com.
