2025 Midyear Bail Profession Survey: And the Survey Says…

More Than 70% of Agents Want More From Their Surety

surveyWe would like to thank all the agents who took the time to take our mid-year state of the bail professional survey. The goal of the survey was to try and get a better understanding of agents’ impression of the business as well as understand the things they expect from their surety company. The survey consisted of 9 questions and was a follow up to the survey we took last December.

Much like the survey conducted last year, the most telling result from the survey was that a large majority of agents think that the MOST important thing their surety can do for them is to do more to protect, defend and promote the bail profession. This time the result was a whopping 72% compared to 40% last survey. With the bail reform movement still active across the country, it is not shocking that this result has become so top of mind with agents.

As you probably know, over the past two decades, the bail industry has been under attack from activist groups and misguided reformers. They have filed federal lawsuits; they have pushed anti-bail legislation in state legislatures; they have pushed constitutional amendments; they have changed court rules; and they have pushed their false and dangerous narrative into every corner of the criminal justice system… and at every turn, AIA Surety has been there to fight.

From California to Florida, from Michigan to Texas, our company has stood up and defended bail. The question we have for all bail agents is, can you say that about your own surety? Have they stepped up and defended your profession? Have they spent their time, resources and dollars to ensure you have a future? If you don’t know the answers to those questions, then we think it is about time you do. If the answers are not what you expect, we think you should look for another surety company. A surety company that has your back and who is committed to your survival and your future.

At AIA Surety, we have made this commitment to our agents. A commitment to protect their profession and a commitment to defend their family bail business. If you would like to find out more about AIA Surety and what we do to ensure our agents’ future, please feel free to contact our team today at (800) 935-2245.
