All eyes are on Santa Clara County in California: <\/span>last month<\/font><\/span><\/a> the County’s Board of Supervisors struck a surprise blow to their pretrial release services by ordering a complete review of their organization—the first time this has happened in 40 years! <\/span><\/div>\n
When the ineffectiveness of pretrial release<\/b> is finally exposed, it is inevitable that the taxpayer funded program will be eradicated, especially in such a bankrupt state. However, we know supporters will do everything in their power to avert this exposure on their poor performance. That is why we are sending a letter to all of our California bail bond agents<\/b>, asking them to help join the Professional Bail Agents Association of Santa Clara County in this cause. <\/span><\/div>\n
To actualize major reform all across the country, we have to start small. A victory in Santa Clara County will ignite an overhaul in the entire state of California, and California itself—already a trendsetter in many different arenas—will help change the discourse nationwide. <\/span><\/div>\n
