{"id":7120,"date":"2010-01-26T19:01:43","date_gmt":"2010-01-27T03:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ec2-52-8-204-4.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com\/uncategorized\/progress-in-virginia\/"},"modified":"2010-01-26T19:01:43","modified_gmt":"2010-01-27T03:01:43","slug":"progress-in-virginia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aiasurety.com\/bail\/progress-in-virginia\/","title":{"rendered":"Progress in Virginia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font size=\"2\">We wanted to pass on some great news to bail bond agents across the country.&nbsp; Yesterday, in Virginia, the subcommittee of the Courts of Justice Committee, passed HB 728 on to the full committee.&nbsp; HB 728 eliminates pretrial release for everyone except the truly indigent.&nbsp; The committee is chaired by Delegate Albo, who is also the sponsor of the bill. <\/p>\n<p>Passage in the House looks very good and then on to the Senate.&nbsp; ALEC&#8217;s Michael Hough testified in favor of the bill at yesterday&#8217;s hearing, and was well received.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We wanted to pass on some great news to bail bond agents across the country.
