In a recent email to Bill Weisband and Richard Moore of the new group Americans for the Preservation of Bail, Executive Director of the American Bail Coalition, Dennis Bartlett, respectfully resigned his position on the APOB’s Board of Directors. This announcement follows the resignation of Accredited President Deborah Jallad, who resigned from the APOB board last month. A copy of Bartlett’s letter is below.
Dear Bill,
After much deliberation it is the decision of the American Bail Coalition (ABC) for me to resign from the board of directors of Americans for Preservation of Bail (APOB).
While we wish APOB all the best, we feel that our resources are best spent in supporting any and all associations of bail agents be they national, state or county oriented, across the country who will fight long and hard not only to preserve our industry but to expand its influence as well. This traditional alignment of ABC has, we feel, served our common interests well to expand the interests of the industry and we have decided to stay true to that position by not directly accepting a direct role as a Board member.
Sincerely,
Dennis A. Bartlett,
Executive Director, American Bail Coalition
